Dr. David Morgan

Growing up on the South-side of Indianapolis, he graduated from Southport High School in 1967. He earned his DVM from Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. After college he practiced in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for four years before returning to Indianapolis. He established Academy Animal Hospital in 1977.

Dr. Tracey Vinson

North Vernon is Dr. Vinson's hometown; but she did her undergraduate work at Anderson University where she played basketball. She attended Purdue University and earned her veterinary degree in 1996. After practicing "back home" her first year out of school, she migrated to Indianapolis and joined the staff of Academy Animal Hospital in 1997. Dr. Vinson is a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. She has two children who currently attend Glenns Valley Elementary. Dr. Vinson is very active in Perry Township youth sports where she coaches basketball, as well as helping as "team mom" for football. Both her children participate in Southport Little League where Dr. Vinson an her husband have helped with coaching and other activities.

Dr. William Blevins

Every few weeks, we have a radiologist visit our clinic from the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Blevins consults with our doctors on every set of x-rays taken at our clinic as well as doing ultrasound examinations and special procedures.


Dr. Erica McNaul

Independence, Indiana is her home town. She graduated from Purdue University twice. First she got her BS in wildife and Fisheries and then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. In between she got her Masters in Wildlife and Fisheries from Pennsylvania State University. She worked with several different wildlife species from Gopher Tortoises to Wood Ducks as a wildlife biologist. As a veterinarian, she still enjoys the variety of animals that she treats. Dr McNaul is a Captain in the US Army and has traveled to several countries participating in humanitarian missions. On these missions she has worked with veterinarians from other countries and seen different problems, such as vampire bat bites on cattle in South America. She has also been deployed to europe as a veterinarian where she participated in food safety, caring for military working dogs and general care of soldiers animals.

Dr. Greg Borlik

A native of Indianapolis, Dr. Borlik grew up attending North Central High School where he competitively ran cross country and track. He lived in Bloomington, IN for four years obtaining his bachelor’s degree in biology as well as a minor in business from Indiana University. After completing his undergraduate studies, he ventured behind enemy lines to attend vet school at Purdue. Dr. Borlik started working at Academy Animal Hospital in 2007 after graduating from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine. He now lives in Indianapolis with his beautiful wife Amy and their two dogs, Cubby the Boston and Vincent the Bichon. Besides pets, Dr. Borlik enjoys outdoor activities such as running, playing basketball, gardening, and grilling. He has had extensive experience in various small animal general practice and emergency hospitals throughout Indiana. Dr. Borlik’s special interests include: surgery, critical care, diagnostic imaging, and dentistry. He is very excited to be a part of the team of caring professionals at Academy Animal Hospital.

Dr. Joe Holder

One of the members of the first graduating class of Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Holder has practiced on the South side of Indianapolis for many years. He joins our team for some special surgucal procedures.
